I’m putting a 360 magnum and a 42rh in my son’s 67 Dart. I have the flex plate from the 360 and the torque converter from the 318 truck that donated the transmission. The flex plate doesn’t line up with the converter, but I’ve read that I will need to enlarge one hole. Does this look right or am I doing something wrong?

I thought I read someplace that when using the A500/A518 you have to use it’s flexplate. Don’t know if that’s true or not.

The slightly offset hole matches what mine looked like. I used a round rat tail file to shape it.

Make sure that you index the location of the flexplate weights where they should be for that motor.

I think the flex plate only bolts on one way to the crank unless I’m wrong.

You should be good just like that by elongating that hole as jbc426 said.
