Thanks, I'll look at that. I'm kinda tween a rock and a hard place on this.....the original thin Offenhauser carburetor adapters are no longer being made, and I had one that was a generic. It worked, but as soon as the carburetor nuts tightened down, they pulled the nuts underneath right through the adapter plate crackin it all to hell. So.....I got a much better and beefier Edelbrock adapter. Only thing is, it's 1" thick, which is about twice as thick as the Offy piece. So I have that extra height I cannot do anything about. I'll figure something out. Hell, I'm not opposed to puttin a hood scoop on it. I really didn't want to, but I will if I have to. lol
