Project Crusty Biscuit (65 Plymouth Valiant)

With the rear axle installed I wanted to get working on the drive shaft. I was planning on using the original one from the car and had it put away but upon pulling it out I remembered that the old 904 that was behind the /6 had a flanged output shaft with the slip joint built in the shaft so that wouldn’t work with the new setup so a custom one was the only option. There aren’t any driveshaft shops that I could find in my area so I just jumped on eBay to see what I could find. I already had a slip-yoke and a pinion flange so I installed these in their places and measured the distance between them and learned that i will need a 50” driveshaft. I literally went on eBay and typed in “50 inch driveshaft” the first result was exactly what I needed and reasonably priced

It arrived at my house in 3 days!
It came with some crappy white paint on it so I stripped it all off and painted it with better paint in a more preferred color:7400C9AD-1CC4-4AF5-9B5B-E9F84B4F5F5A.jpeg6E50B7E0-1337-494E-B6F9-7ADBC6C42AB0.png
