Interesting car. Some upgrades already there. It is a small block 4-speed? A running and driving project?

I thought that looked odd too. But not familiar with this Hotchkis kit. If you are? Please elaborate. It's why things are posted.

I'm familiar with what I put on MY CAR, which is the Addco. I upgraded the factory hardware to much heavier duty brackets with grease fittings and also relocated the brackets to the top of the K frame, instead of underneath, like the instructions say to do it. This did two things for me. First of course, it raised the bar way up, even over the center brace for the bottom of the center part of the valance. Secondly it also brought the bar up almost completely parallel with the strut rods. I've read from "the experts" whoever the hell they are that is the best position. Who the hell knows? At any rate, here's what mine ended up looking like. No way in hell is it gonna bottom out on anything now.

Oh man. At first I thought you were talking about the rear. He had to have already hit something with the front bar's location?

You'd certainly think so, wouldn't you?

I have the rear for mine as well, but I have not installed it yet.

The thread isn't an excuse for you to give a lengthy breakdown of what you did to your front suspension with pictures...
Dummy...

Just looking at the rear quarters and wheel opening shape scares me away.
The more I look? The more curious I'm becoming? Its looking as if rear was replaced. (8 3/4?) If that's true? With the front end pieces. And rear. All he had to do was pull engine and trans? He could have done a soda blast and paint underneath? That doesn't replace a full rotisserie type restoration. But certainly better than not? It's almost like doing things backwards? Umm. I will post if I go take a look?

P.S. I've never owned a Mopar small block. Maybe it's time?
