Can anyone identify this cam and decode the numbers.. There was no info with it when I picked it up.

It is most likely the B777 grind. It is a sol, not hyd cam. I have used a couple in 440s & they were a great street/performance cam. It was so good that I had a local cam grinder make a copy of it. 280* adv duration, 240 @ 050, 108 LSA, 0.480" valve lift.
It had 268* @ 0.020". Comp & other companies often quote their adv durations for sol cams at 0.020" tappet rise. Try finding another cam of around this duration that has just 28* of separation between 020 & 050...& had it in the 1970s. I have a bit of a smile when i hear about all these 'new' short timing cams.

It's a Poly cam, that's what the "277" means (Plymouth baby sister to the 318A). I had a NOS one and sold it to a guy with a '64 Poly and he loved it!! Sent me a video with sound and it loped pretty good, and he said it needs a tad more stall, like maybe a factory 11" hi-stall truck converter with the earlier input splines. Won't work in a LA motor, due to lobe sequence. The cam card above^ shows the same lift and duration specs but a different lobe separation than the one I sold. My timing events were 35-71,71-35 and part number 150188, grind #D-888.

:popcorn:Its definitely 1 of 5 cams mentioned here...OP, any closer to ID’ing it correctly? :drama:
LOL.... Nope...! I was given this cam by someone that " knew what they were talking about"... He said it would be PERFECT for my stock, 72 318 manual 3 spd... 8 3/4 3.23
I sent an email to Isky to see if they can give me some definitive info.

Must be the Mopar 340 cam in an Isky Grind.

Lift: 430/444
Duration: 268°/276°
112 lobe centers

Good ^^^^^ Baseline to start with for a 318.

LOL. I posted what it is earlier, I just sold one identical to it last year. Lay it next to a LA/SBM cam and marvel a how the lobes are not arranged in the same way. It's not going to run in ANY 318 but a Polysphere. Look up the part number I listed above in an old Isky catalog (from the 1970s, maybe early '80s), that's what I did to identify the one I had.

Is it worth anything..?? If it won't work in my 318, I'll just sell it.

They fellow who bought mine loved it. I got it in a pile of Isky parts and I kept what I could use, but I had no Poly/A-motors. Somebody on FBBO or the HAMB etc. would love to have it I'm sure. Compare it to a LA cam and let us know, I don't want to lead you astray. If it is for a LA engine it would probably work good on the street, but I think that "277" is the damning marking!

Now you are beginning to see my frustration. ;)

Right.....if I'm reading all this right, the "D888" is the grind number, right? While the "277" is the specific type core. In other words, the "D888" could be the same grind for most any make across the board, while the "277" tells us it's for the Poly engine, Correct?

Lobe lift is easy to measure. Measure LL & that will narrow the possibilities.

Thanks for that... I will post what I find out from Isky.
