79’ Little Red Express 360 and 727

Jadaharabi, the graphics are from Phoenix graphics. The ship date appears to be 2004 they are old. They are stored in a cardboard cylinder. The born date of block is 12-12-78 making it a 79’ truck engine. There does not appear have been a windage tray. I haven’t looked but I don’t think it has the pedestal bolts either. However, literature is contradicting the 79’ truck motors may have lost the windage tray and the 68’ cam. They added the catalytic’s as well, the 79’ where a full sec slower in the quarter than 78’s. 78’s for sure the preferred yr. I’ll try and get it on the stand tomorrow for a better inspection. I don’t have a cherry picker man handling by myself gets interesting. I’ll get it done. I have one of chrome steps where the exhaust stack comes through. It's possible they may have eliminated the windage tray for 79. Does anyone know for sure? Or was the windage tray ever a part of the LRE trucks at all to begin with? Just a rumor?
