440 stroker kit interference question

My brother bought a 440 source stoker kit to build a 500 ci out of a 440. The engine is fabulous, but we're struggling with engine placement. He's no longer around and had installed Schumacher motor mounts in the 68 barracuda (convertible, no ac). Schumacher is no longer around. My brother had to grind the steering box for clearance but I've found the steering assembly (pitman arm?) rubs the oil pain. Has anyone done a swap using 440 source and Schumacher? And before we start modifying more... any recommended alternatives to Schumacher for motor mounts?

Did you try lifting it up and putting a 1/4" shim in for clearance? Sometimes it doesn't take much.
