Stop in for a drink.

Hey, we are getting some thunder and lightning...first time this season. Seems like a gentle storm so it’s kinda nice to hear it rumbling again.

We had some down here earlier. Not the first of the year for Georgia though.

My son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter were here from Ohio this week. It was a great visit. She's 4 years old and sweet as ever.

They left this morning so I cleaned out the hot tub, put in new filters, now its filling up with water.

Picked up some Bourbon from Chattanooga Whiskey Company. We drove right by it when we went to the aquarium on Wednesday. Time for a drink while the hot tub fills up.

Yo 66, please throw us your tasting review on the Chattanooga Whiskey, I do not recognize it? We are always on the look out for good spirits!

Im not much of a connoisseur but I liked it better than many. It was very smooth. Not hot going down for 91 proof. I could taste vanilla throughout. It was good enough that I had 5 drinks!!

Although we drove past the distillery on Wednesday, I ended up buying it Friday at a local package store. It was $34.

Well, this was another interesting day.

A new company came out of left field expressing interest in my becoming a part of their Scientific Advisory Board. They specialize in Immunotherapy for treating pediatric food allergies. They seem to seriously need my kind of expertise in drug product development to get their treatments to market.

This should be interesting to see how it plays out. People at my level often end up on multiple Company Boards drawing a lucrative salary from each as they help companies bring their products to market.

Think of each gig as a part time job that pays 6 figures. Knit a few of those together and people quickly find their income in the comfortable 7 figure range annually. Add in stock incentives and it just gets larger.

Fingers crossed that this may be my opportunity to join that community.

I think I will have some adult beverages and consider that possibility...

Cheers!

My wife went to the nursery today during her errands and came home with my next landscaping project. Of course, she didn’t say anything about it until she came in and asked me to help unload the minivan.

Cleveland Select flowering pear trees. She knows where she wants them and I just have to execute her plan. The Spring nest-building instinct runs strong in her DNA...LOL! :)

Gee, it’s been a whole 4 days since I last beat the snot out of myself digging holes and hauling dirt and mulch around the yard. I must be ready for another project!

Good thing it’s going to rain from tomorrow through Friday so I won’t have to deal with it until the weekend...and it gives me some time to thing about how best to do it.

I figure a few evenings considering it over some cold beer should help...

Cheers!

A bit of Bib & Tucker tonight I think it's good to sip on.
Was invited to a car show in Fargo North Dakota on Sunday and figure I'll do that even in the colder weather that I would normally not do but with all the crap and virus going on it might be the only time I get a chance to take my Scamp out to a car show this year if things get shut down again. Gonna call Sublime one and see if he will go with me if the weather is good.

Have fun Fred. The next show around here for me is May 16th. It’s the one I unexpectedly took 4th place at a few years ago. I still haven’t decided if I want to do it yet. The virus is increasing quite a bit around here and I haven’t been vaccinated yet.

Thanks Dave I plan on having some fun but not a big car show just something to do.

Fred I am out of State teaching some advanced pistoleros classes, I won’t be back in ND until 4/21. The car show is a good one. It is thrown by valley vintage. You could very easily be the only Mopar there. You could win best Mopar for sure. That show is all about Chevys! I will be sipping on this tasty little morsel upon my return. In case the pix is not legible it is a bottle of the elusive Blantons.

Your review is perfect! I have recently just started a tasting group up here in Fargo as a result of TMMs tasting group in Iowa. We bumble and stumble our way thru and are learning with each tasting session. As you guys likely remember i was fortunate enough to end up on TMMs patio while him and some of his tasting buddies sampled an array of spirits. We had a blast and I learned a lot. Turns out when asked, and you reply Mmmm I like it , it’s yummy. They look at you like ya got a third eye! Hah! Great time great memories. When Fred and I get together it is a bit different, let’s just say one of us always passes out in a chair! And for the record I can navigate Fred’s steps into the house just fine on all fours!

I'm getting some chocolate on the palate from that Yellowstone but I think it might be from the chocolate chip cookie I ate before tasting. LMAO

Good luck to you Dave.

Good luck Dave! Don’t forget us little people once you are world famous! But most importantly don’t forget we like good scotch when we show up at your house!
Thanks guys. Still a long way away from being reality, but I’m not sitting around waiting for it to happen either. I just started full swing on activities to create my own Pharmaceutical Development Resources Company. I have about a dozen highly experienced professionals looking to join in. If the path doesn’t find me, I will just create my own path.

And yeah, the best spirits will be on hand when/if you guys ever decide to visit!
