Proper 8 1/4" Rear Brake Drum Adjustment Tool?

Haven't looked at drum brakes in decades. The drum was frozen on the axle. I used CFD244's tips to get the drum off. I couldn't back off the adjuster because it was already all the way in. I must have been clicking against the brake backing plate, thinking it was the self adjusting lever. The inside doesn't look like the Service Manual...
