Firemen like fire and firemen like the rush of fighting fire are two very different things. One is an arsonist....

Rescue people "liking blood" and Rescue people being able to "handle blood" are two very different things. One is sick

Cops liking authority and cops who USE authority again, two very different things. One is an asshole.

People do things for various reasons, I never argued that. What I disagreed with is your way of stating that made it seem like all of the people in this professions, acted the way you describe...

I’m two of the three. I love fighting fire. Fire has to happen before I get my adrenaline rush. That’s lust a fact. Massive trauma? Has to happen before i get pumped up for a major extrication scene. So yeah. I like fire. I like major trauma scenes. That has to occur for me to use the tools of my profession. I don’t wish il will to anyone. Like i use to instruct my crew, we didnt create the emergency, but we are there to make it better!
