Exactly my point. Just because some one labels themselves as a Marxist or a Socialist doesn't mean that that are nor are they reflective of that ideology
Case in point, during the last election an uncomfortable truth was discussed about fund raising and it was pointed out that Trump received the "most" funding from private individual ie mums and dads and Biden received the most from Corporate sponsors. If Joe Biden and the Dems are Socialist and Marxist why would a Corporation fund them when they are ideologically diametrically opposed?
The fact is they are not. Both parties are bought and owned by financial interests. You have to look past the "Narrative" you are sold to see what is really going on.
When Pelosi was asked about moving "Left" on the Economic front her reply was "We're Capitalist"
In reality it will likely take a revolution to make your country to swing to the Left in Economic terms.
