#318Fest in Alabama 5/8/2021 followed by #MoparVsBrandX--T'n'T

#318Fest with MoparVsBrandX Test'N'Tune later in the day.

Yes it is a race for 318 cars, we want them all from vans, trucks, taxis, RVs, to Twister Dusters. Also allowed in the class is 273s, 3.9V6s, and even Slant 6s just for grins. We have tried the last 2 occations to run an Apples to Apples shootout for nothing but 318 powered cars during our #MoparVsBrandXstreetcarShowdown, however its too busy to make it work so we gave it its very own day! May 8th at 10am we are looking to gather as many 318 powered vehicles as possible for 1/8mile racing and chassis dyno pulls. The track will be available for non-318Fest competition throughout the day but our focus will be to produce valuable information as it relates to the common mans Mopar V8. Our in-house contenders are a 69 Dart, 74 Duster, and 95 Dakota. I hope some of you can make the trip. #MoparVsBrandXstreetcarShowdown Test 'N' Tune starts at 1 pm

How many years has this been going on Im in Atlanta

Austin has been doing this a while now. Overbore 318’s are fine but the idea is to bring some light to the normally shunned smaller displacement engines to show there viability.

We do a race called the #MoparVsBrandXstreetcarShowdown in the fall, this is the test'n'tune for that event. However, this #318Fest is done during that T'n'T and it is the 1st time we have thrown it in the spot light! We will have the mobile dyno on site and will be keeping tabs on all the 318 cars timeslips throughout the day and arranging races for them all day. I'm in thrash mode getting this Duster of mine done.
As far as sizes go, all drivetrains are welcome to come racing May 8th, but we are only keeping tabs and records on cars that have casted on the side of the block, 273/318 or 3.9 V6s. All modifications to them are welcome! Turbo/nitrous/stroker whatever whatever!
