MoparFest at the Battleship, Mobile, Alabama Saturday April 24th 2021

Who's going?
I'll be there Saturday for the show, weather permitting. It's held every year when the weather is typically:
Absolutely GORGEOUS, blue skies, cool and dry...
OR
Absolutely horrible, even 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse horrible, and I've been there for both extremes.
It IS one of THE best backdrops for an American muscle car show! Swap meet and used parts for sale can be really good, but I'm sure there's many better. Still, I found rear side quarter windows complete for my "post car" 70 Roadrunner. It looks like the part that the rear side window latch hooks to is integrated into the frame? Maybe held in by 2 rivets? Anyway, buying at least the entire frame is the only way I know to "fix" (replace) my broken ones, and I got a pair w/glass at a good price.
I hope the weather is beautiful and I get to see my Mopar "family" there.
I'm driving my Roadrunner from the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain very early Saturday morning. The welcome center at the western Mississippi state line on i-10 is a good place to meet to convoy!
PM or reply if you're going, especially if you want to convoy! My 855 5 speed and 4.10 gears make 2,750 RPMs at 72 mph.

After almost 2 weeks of really crappy weather, a tornado warning (the kind that sets off the emergency alert of your smartphone at 3:30AM and says "seek shelter NOW) flood warnings, endless rain, EPIC thunderstorms (2,200 strikes in 15 minutes) street flooding...
NOW the weather is BEAUTIFUL! Clear, cool, dry, blue skies...
Guess when the next thunderstorms are?

Yeah, there wasn't supposed to be ANY chance of rain this week until Friday, so they said Monday...
Monday night/Tuesday morning (it was dark) guess what? It rained!
Still, the absolute WORST part of the rain Friday night/Saturday is Saturday morning! It's been the "forecast of DOOM" for several days now.
It's changed from this morning...
Now it's a NINETY % chance of rain, severe thunderstorms likely.
Well, isn't that special.
