Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Morning fellers. I have a funeral on the schedule for today. A dear friend that I met back in the late 70's that was a cashier for me at the Parts store. Her 3 boys weren't too much younger so we all hung out together.
Sorry to hear mike

Best thing I have with an NSN on it is a tap and dye set. This set was missing 2 or 3 pieces, huge set. IMRL (or tool) P.O. was going to throw it over the side of the ship (Nimitz), they do that outside of 12 miles you know. Anyway he offered it to me said it was either that or it was going in the drink.

That goes on here on the river, too. Lots of things get tossed off the dredge. We just dug up a huge spud pin we lost last year, three inches in diameter and four feet long.

Good morning Everyone. I hope all is well. I see the news is crappy today but the coffee is good...

Well looks like everyone is having a busy Friday. I'm picking up some furniture soon for a nephew moving out soon on his own. My best buddy is getting new furniture today, and nephew is taking the couch and chair. We're taking the beautiful round glass breakfast table with chairs for the new house. No room and don't want to move it two or three times, so just leaving it on the enclosed car trailer for a few weeks.

I remember when Norfolk Southern started slashing jobs a few years ago. I had only been there a couple years, and I watched as all the new hires disappeared one or two at a time, until it was my turn. Just bought a house and had a five month old daughter, had to figure something out. It turned out to be a good thing, as I lost some weight and finally got on a day shift schedule. I understand your position may be better than what I had, though, so I hope it works out for you either way. Always sucks to hear about layoffs, but witnessing it is worse.

Noon hour is about here on this dandy Dandelion Day .. darn, won't let me post my picture

My grandmother with my Grandpa’s 64 Sport Fury. Honeymoon 1964.

the truck is my 1978 that my grandfather ordered brand new and actually according to my uncle drove up and picked up from Detroit directly. This was taken at the homestead when they returned in 1978. I currently have this truck and there’s 81,743 miles on the clock. With 1200 on the stroker 360.
