Which way is correct for install on 67-9 cuda? Lower leading edge of vent frame.
Pic 2 or 3?

Not sure I understand what you are asking!
 
After final adjustment to the frame to get parallel to the A-pillar, then put in the plastic plug to cover and one step closer!

You will likely see the thread depth from original and bring it that depth for a starter! After install if the nut is loosened you can adjust the final depth of the stud with a flat blade screwdriver if needed. Tighten the nut and check for alignment to the A-Pillar.

Lastly plug the hole and move on!

Molded in washer inside door, washer nut outside of door.

Going to attempt side windows on the 7 FB tomorrow. vent window then side glass? Was there some special plastic stripping that went on the side window side of the vent window track? (so basically the forward vertical track of the side window)

Things are good here, hope the same for you!
There is a plastic moulded/flicked piece that is brittle as hell and I'm not sure who repops them. It fits vertically on the leading edge of the door glass and slides inside the long support.
Take a flip thru here, it's about converting 67 doors to 69 but the piece were talking about is the same for all 3 years.
It's a dang wrestling match! I had the door flat to work on it.

67-9 cuda door repair questions
 
I replaced my Swingers glass runs with repop parts but I dont recall where I got them . I will check my reciepts this week . Save the clips .
