Anyone have a recommendation for a nice, easy locking dipstick for a big block 727?
This is always a thorn in my side for some reason.

Doesn’t Mancini racing have some? IDK who there by, but check it out.

I have 2 from Mancini in my 727's, they work quite well & they kept IHRA & NHRA tech inspectors off my back.

Go get a GM locking dip stick from a p.u. And cut to length cheep and easy.

I did what Biff did.... check the level with TF dipstick, race with basically a locking plug from the junkyard.

This won't help you check the trans fluid but it's a locking top that will get you to pass tech
I agree with Dartindanno I have the same thing ,( lower left in the picture ) last year my old ATI plug broke and I put the stock dipstick back in for week or so until my new one came and the tech inspector at my home track caught it . I keep the stock dipstick in the trailer so I can check the fluid level.
