I lived between Joplin and Springfield but 20 mi N of Mt Vernon. I moved to Tx in 2017. My dentist was in Monett and he retired seems like right before I moved.
Mt.Vernon is a nice little town, right on I 44 and Monett is nice, but it does have a chicken plant.
