2 X'S and an R

I heard something about the dyno. It will be a great tool to have for sure.
I hope you keep the steam up YR's *** to get his stuff going, he's too busy helping others.
He needs to enjoy retirement.
Agreed, I don't want to "handle" him but sometimes he needs a little "intervention" lol. In the words of Mr. Eastwood "a man's got to know his limitations".

Also thankfully @MOPARMAGA has been helping YR out so I'm hoping him and I can meet up and strategize to get him up and running lol.

If he could do body work and paint, I'd have a deal for him. lol
I went through my engine, drivetrain and new headers and 3' exhaust on my life long 67 fastback I've had since the late 70's.
I believe it's the 4th engine and going to be the 3rd paint job, back to original turquoise

All you have to do is, be nice. lol

The dyno is an all summer project. Once I get it here I have to figure out how to unload an engine and then get it on the dyno. That won’t be easy. Then I have to get the dyno powered up and see what it needs to make a pull. I know a few things are missing so that crap all needs to be replaced.

We do know it has an updated absorber, it has WinDyn already installed and most of it is there. We also know one of the cards that fails in the console has been replaced so that’s a big deal.

We are missing the foot valve and filter, the RPM sender, the drive plate (wish we could find that bugger but I spent hours looking for it and struck out) and maybe on other thing.

Hopefully by late September it will be ready to make some noise and rattle the L.T. Murray game refuge real good.

EDIT: if anyone has a foot valve laying around let me know. Also a drive plate. And we will need a SBM, BBM and maybe a SBC a scatter shield. The cheaper the better. Dirt cheap would be nice. PM if you have any of these things or know of them.

I'm on the wet side of the rocks, but I'll look around for you. If you spot something over here, let me know and I'll go look at it. I use Action Machine in Shoreline, and they're good people. I've been watching your posts for years, and I like your advice. Come's around, goes around. Feel free to PM me. Paul.

My r block will be built a later date but the plan is my trick flow heads, a solid cam (probably a roller), 4" crank, and whatever intake makes the best power on the dyno. It actually won't be anything to special n/a as its a street car but it will be able to handle enough nitrous to make 8-900 hp.
This sounds pretty cool.
I would like to do something similar, but maybe with a ProCharger instead of nitrous. Never used boost yet and would like to do it once.
No budget for this kind of build right now, so just a pipe dream.
