440BelII, don't mean to derail this thread, But I would like to ask you about an 1980 Mirada you bought back in 2018.
SOLD - '80 Mirada Drag Car | For FMJ Bodies Only
This car use to belong to me, I built it back in the early 90's and sold it in 2000. the outside appearance has changed since then, but the rest is still the same. This is the car when I owned it.

I use to run the car at Lebanon Valley N.Y. and English Town N.J. with a W-2 372 inch small block. My little monster in the driver's seat is 24 and is 6'7" now.

Yes sir, what would you like to know? I bought the car with good intentions to do something with it. It ended up sitting in my garage for awile without being touched. I ended up selling the car to make room for another car. Then, my oldest son, who started this post, decided he wanted to go racing. I wish he would have told me before I sold it.

Do you know if the person you sold it to is doing anything with it or not, and where it ended up. I have a son in the same situation, he raced my 2012 Challenger R/T from time he got his licence. In 2018 I let him take the Dart for for a test & tune day, and now the low 13 second Challenger isn't fast enough. So we go back and forth running the 10 second Dart. I just keep remembering what a nice race car that Mirada was when I finish it, it ran 10's with a W2 small block. Wish I had kept it, but I had nowhere to store it when I started putting the Dart together and the now ex wife would not give up her spot in the garage.

Honestly, once I sold it, I lost track of it. It was a few years back. I believe the people that bought it lived somewhere in Niagara county. Newfane, Niagara Falls, somewhere up in that area.
