I was "318", when 318 wasn't cool......

I know that the reason for the slant was to obtain a lower hood and fender line. But the old slantie is a very reliable engine. I’ve seen it in everything from gensets to combines
My mother had a 76 (I think) Dart with a 225. We beat the hell out of that motor. It was pig slow but just wouldn't quit. It was like, "Change the oil? Why, there's still some in it."
