How To Simplify Parking Brake Cable Routing?

Received the later model version ('67 & up) parking brake cable kit from Uline. I began adapting it the the '65 Formula S today. Just one doubt I have left. The long cable that attaches to the passenger side rear drum must be secured in two or three places. I see an unused clip on the tube of the differential (passenger side) which appears to be ready made for it (photo #1). There is also a clip/tab on the new cable which must attach to the underbody somewhere (photo #2). I would like to verify for sure where I should set that clip?

Then over by where the rear rubber hose connects to the metal brake line, there is an adjacent unused (for now) hole with a Tinnerman/speed nut (smack dab center of photo #3). I was wondering if the factory used that threaded hole as a third attachment point for the same parking brake cable? Thank you.
