Last go Racing! Getting a 1965 Barracuda ready for the track

It’s getting closer. Nothing like a new set of wheels to make a car look completely different.

Well we made to the track on Sunday. Wasn't great and I have a good bit of work to do. I did manage to make first past the first round of racing. Car suffered from being super lean and a transmission that have a mind of its own. The best 1/8 mile pass was 10.20 @ 79. My MANDRA club members did get some good pictures of the car. 10.2 in the 1/8....oooof. Hang in there, it will get better.

I know it will. When the transmission decided to cooperate the car pulled hard. Half the fun for me is the challenge. Figuring out what’s going to work and making it happen.

No more updates at this time. I pulled my Valiant out fixed the leaky freeze plugs. Give her a tune up and started racing it again. We'll get back on the little barracuda soon.
