I'm wanting to install a set of new Mancini #002 &003 old school S/S springs with new shackle assys. I looked at the rear shackle bracket mount which is bolted to the rear body panel. I have no idea how to access the backside. I see two fastener bolts. Is there nuts on the backside? or welded and tapped factory threaded blocks? at this point,.. I don't want to screw it up with out looking at a 72 body service manual, or asking for help here from anyone who had the same issue.
You're thoughts?.... Appreciate the help.

And they are fairly easy to twist off. Heat usually helps. Sometimes you have to drill access holes, well above the bolts, and flood the area with a penetrating fluid, then wait a few hours and try again. Work the bolts back and forth until they loosen up, but easy does it, they are not very strong. If you bust them, don't panic. They can be removed; it just takes sooooooooooo much longer;
heat is your friend. Crank up the torch, and Heat the bolt heads up cherry-red, fast, so as not to affect the nuts ; then walk away. When they cool they will shrink away from the nuts. A lil more lube and they will practically unscrew themselves. Then throw those bolts away. Anti-seize the new ones.

Thanks for the feedback,...I did flood the backside of the bolts, for two days. When loosening them, they came out without heat.
I used a 6 point deep well impact socket , on a 1/2 drive ratchet with extensions bars. It Worked perfect and gave me the leverage I needed. :)
I used a whole can of PB Blaster rust buster and soaked them well. I had to have a catch pan under the bracket for the amount of penetrant I was using,
but well worth it. Thanks to Motorpirate and to AJ/FormS for the plan B method.
