I bought new quarter window seals for the 68 barracuda i am working on from Detroit Muscle. They are way to short. Every place i look at has the same ones & they are all to short. Where do i get the correct lengths ? Its the seal the goes on the rear of the door glass.

I will check my records tomorrow, the seals purchased were the correct length, but a real pain to install from my recollection!

For the 67 to 69 Cuda applications, there is different quarter glass seals for the following applications: 67-69 Notchback, 67-69 Fastback and 67-69 Convertible, they are all different. That is why you have to stock all three of them. Some vendors will only offer the longer style and tell you to cut to length so that they cut down on inventory cost and simplify the product listing. Depending upon the application, that is why we may suggest a Metro piece for one application while for another application, the Soff Seal piece is a better fit.

Soft seal brand is what i bought. It says 67-69 barracuda fastback 2 door hard top #ss-ch1022 they are way to short also they didnt fit like i thought they should unless it was me lol

If your needing the quarter glass seals for a 67 to 69 Cuda Fastback, you will need a CH2022 from Soff Seal. It is considerably longer than the CH1022. The CH2022 is 21 inches long and was used for the 68-70 B-Bodies as well. The CH1022 is for the Cuda Notchback application.

just ordered ones from Metro 20 in ill let you all know how they fit the ones from soft seal said for fastback on the package even

Just curious - did you do the install yet? I have a soffseal set for my 69 Dart, am wondering about the degree of difficulty to install?

Thanks
