Cowl Inspection Ports

I gotta wonder if you get as much leaves in your aircleaner as I get in my face when I open up my fresh air vents at 60 mph

LOL, No leaves in the last 4 years, but I don't have to park under trees either. My grandsons love it when I open the remaining driver's side vent and punch it, because the sound of the intake comes through there loud and clear when at full throttle. Speaking of opening the cowl vents, it's surprising how much air pressure builds up in the cowl at speed. The motor certainly loves it.

My passenger side vent is blocked off due to the Vintageair Gen IV evaporator I installed there. I did find some leaf debris in the cowl area when I opened up the cowl to fit the 4" ducts, and I washed the area out real good. I was fortunate that this car is virtually rust free with the exception of a silver dollar sized hole in the trunk. It must have been kept in a garage it's whole life.
