Inching into 12's..... 2.94's vs 3.23's

I think traction is gonna be my biggest challenge. I was playing the other day running around 25mph I gunned it and it broke loose and started spinning.
It's tough, but you'll get it. The car in the video above is proof! And guess what, I was hooking with a common cooper cobra street radial before the MT ET streets. I can't emphasize enough on tuning the car (suspension, traction tricks) and You Have To Learn To Drive It Out Of the Hole! Without a sure grip or spool, I can't emphasize that enough either.

Who helps you on your videos. If that’s your wife tell hell she doing a great job and whoever is editing the videos is to.

Thank you. At the track she does all the videoing. I do the editing. On other projects, she does some videoing and other times I use the tri pod.

That 360 is an anomaly! I've seen so many including my old one with more compression, more cam, 3,500 stall and 3.23 gears not be that quick.

My cam is a bottom end cam, and that really helps.

I like how you get it done! Do you go through the traps in 2nd? Do you log weather conditions?
Thanks! I shift to 3rd, my motor isn't an RPM motor at all. I don't log the weather conditions, but my friends down at the track always let me know. I don't change anything regardless of the weather, though.

solid mid 12's or better by the end of summer.
inch by inch
That is our goal, to keep whittling it down inch by inch .... LOL !!!! Preloading the car at the staged lights is getting to be trick work as it gets faster. If I don't load right at the lights, it will be a one tire fire show.

My 74 might be a little on the heavy side also so that's my best excuse! Lol
yeah, I really need to look at the weight on mine too. It has the fold down back seat, brace in the door, I did cut most of the brace out behind the bumper but I still have the shocks.
