Young Guns

Might as well post mine.
I bought my 70' duster in January this year from Chris Birdsong. He was helping a family liquidate their impound yard and this one came up for sale amid a TON of 72-76's. I had just recently followed him because I knew he posted mopars for sale at prices that they should be worth. (as in not the typical internet classic car "only one with", "has rare options" "one of one" sale.) So the day after I followed him he posted this for sale for $1900. (slant 6, am radio, manual brakes, manual steering, no a/c, stripper model) The ONLY option that it had was V5X protective side molding.
Anyway, I was the first to respond on Wednesday and I picked it up that Saturday.
Cleaned it out, dug around the interior, found all the rust, everything you do when you get a car that has been sitting for 41 YEARS. After doing a whole bunch of work including putting in a new starter, new ignition and turn signal switch, and rebuilding the distributor and carb, I got it to fire up and idle.
It is currently on jack stands getting new brakes, reupholstered seats, new trunk floor/gas tank mounts, and fluids. Then a friend has matching blue and yellow California plates I am going to get re-registered on my car.
