What master cylinder is everybody usin for drum to manual disc conversion on the early A body? The A Cardone number is 10-1326M but it's out of stock everywhere. Is there something else that works in its stead? Thank you drive through.
Yes I do, pedal feels great.Thank you. Do you like how it works?
This the one I used for my drum to manual Kelsey hayes swap.

Yep exactlySame one suggested in the How to section KH brake install.
I may not be of much help here, but I’m running one that is correct for a 69 Dart with manual disc. You may find that you wouldn’t think it’s the right one because it has the same size bowls for front and back, but for a K-H manual disc setup, it is correct.
If originality isn't important, I've had success with the aluminum 15/16" MC from Dr Diff. It requires the 4 to 2 bolt adapter that he sells.
I had trouble finding the stock 73-76 A body non power iron unit locally. The NON power unit has the recess to retain the brake pedal pushrod. Some power MCs don't.
I'm not sure here but don't the 69 drum brake masters have the same size bowls as well? If so how can you identify them, by part # ? Just curious . I wouldn't mind one in my Ragtop. I once read drum and disk were the same master back then just a different proportioning valve but you can't believe it just cause you read it. Rock auto show manual drum and power brakes no mention of front disk. Inquiring minds want to know.
yep, they are the same master, or at least they look the same. I got mine from a brake only supplier that used to be in Ann Arbor called S&H Brakes. I too questioned whether it was right, but they knew all about the K-H system and assured me it was the correct unit. I don’t know the part number or make, it was some time ago when I got it.
Hit or miss . Good luck and let us know how you like it. I may do the same.I got the A1 Cardone parts cross for the one in post #2 comin. We'll see what it looks like. You know how them reman parts are.
