Just realized I am paying to much for BEER!

BTW, what is up with seniors getting carded all the time??? I am 70, and I have to show ID to buy beer at my local grocery store, and a lot of restaurants ask for ID too. I totally understand that places have to be careful because the police find 19 year olds who look like they are 35 to trap stores and restaurants, but I look 70. It's stupid. And what is more stupid is that if I question it, I always get told that it is the state law; which it is not. If a server at a restaurant asks for ID, I just change to a coke.
The grocery store that i do my shopping at, doesn't ask for my ID, but they ask you for your birthday. (I'm 68)
When i got questioned the first time, i was kinda pissed about it, asking a guy that is obviously an old man, buying a 6 pack of beer.
Was told, like it or lump it, as it's become corporate policy in asking everybody who buys, beer, wine, liquor.
The new thing here in Commiefornia, too.
