The grocery store that i do my shopping at, doesn't ask for my ID, but they ask you for your birthday. (I'm 68)
When i got questioned the first time, i was kinda pissed about it, asking a guy that is obviously an old man, buying a 6 pack of beer.
Was told, like it or lump it, as it's become corporate policy in asking everybody who buys, beer, wine, liquor.
The new thing here in Commiefornia, too.
I'm in Pa. They ask for my license at the supermarket every time and scan the bar code. Sometimes I'm not in the mood and go to the beer distributor across the street they just take my money no Id asked for:)
