These would be the most "versatile".

I NEVER liked these valve cover from day one. You see them all the time at shows - but THESE!... These I would put on one of my engines in a heartbeat and it doesn't matter what the rest of the engine bay looks like. This is pure artistry - silk purse from a sows ear!.

Hey Leanna!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF OUR CHARITY-BENEFIT CAR SHOW!!!

IF you decide to do a gift certificate to cover the winners design, I'll be happy to take both the small block Magnum valve covers and the small block Edelbrock Magnum intake manifold you've done for me as display examples of your work to show the item winner.
Who knows, they might even draw some more business your way!
I'm hopeful this is the last year I'd be able to do this with the valve covers and intake because I want them to be on a running engine in a finished '69 Dart for our 2022 car show!
May I also suggest, if you do a gift certiicate to cover the powder coating that you put a limit as to how many colors in the finished design?
Let me know so I can find and unbox the valve covers and intake and take to the car show for display if necessary.

Hey Ken, thanks for the generous offer! I'm still kicking in a couple Gift Certificates too for a set face value (usually $250) which are applied toward anything the winner wants to get coated at my usual hourly rate.

I'd be delighted for you to bring whatever you want -- I'm still in love with your intake lol -- and display it/them any way you wish. Business cards and some flyers will be provided in the box with the valve covers again; I've always figured they were put into the goodie bags or on a table somewhere at the show. Being here away from all the action isn't any fun :mob: and I wish an appearance could be worked in too someday. I'd love to meet you SoCal guys!!

Thanks again for everything!

You have done an amazing job building your business Leanna!

Thank you for that!!! Hard to believe but it celebrates its 15th Anniversary on May 31. The years have flown by! Best part is it's all because of each of you ... I couldn't have done it without your support.

#6

Voucher, so they can pick their colors.

"Good for one set of valve covers coated in one or two powders" or something worded like that.

what if instead of the BB valve covers you get a poster size print out of your avatar?

Maybe white body & the ribs in the mopar rainbow colors. Polished or cleared mopar performance & pentastar

I love pink! But that six pack setup in Street hemi Orange is awesome. I love them all great work!

Excuse the copy/paste from my FaceBook post but I'm pressed for time today. Let me say first though that your feedback was IMMENSELY HELPFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Special Edition of the Friday Powder ****!!!

Some of you know I was asked to customize a brand new set of big block Mopar Performance valve covers by Jason Gibbons, the "new guy" in charge of the 2021 Mopars In May event happening next Sunday, May 23, in Ontario, California. He's most definitely putting one heck of a show together and all his rallying of sponsors and participants has made an impact!

I've been helping sponsor Mopars in May for several years now. Always for a wonderful cause, it's truly a privilege to be even more directly involved with this event once again.

It was a fun job to do too. I'm not privy to how they'll be awarded but know any funds this and the other sponsor giveaways may earn through Opportunity Drawings will go directly to kids at Ft. Irwin.

The very first set out of my own imagination -- after being merely the vehicle for countless others' visions for the last 15 years -- I have a lot more sympathy for customers who take their time developing a suitable color scheme now. These have been in the back of my head for a couple months. Though the polls I circulated were helpful, it proved no two Mopar Lovers think alike.

So in trying to create something universally appealing, my contribution to the 2021 Mopars In May show represents me and my side of the shop. This is my vision:
Red and Blue, first because I'm a very proud American. Secondly because the brilliant colors will tie in with MSD boxes, ProComp stuff, AN fittings, certain Optima batteries, cables, plug wires, etc.

The heavy metallic silver (also underlying the candy red and blue -- look closely!) -- will match new intake manifolds, or old ones if you get yours coated [heh hehhhh], and many other accessories under the typical big block Mopar hood.

The black on the bodies is universally appealing and generally goes with everything. To make sure it REALLY goes with everything on these, I used a black powder that has micro metal flake in every conceivable color when viewed up close. (I wish it showed up better in the photos, and that one of my 7 attempts at a video would have worked.)

The big blue and red metal flakes from Painthuffer were added to represent my Old School attitude and the Old Fashioned One-on-One Approach I've always used since opening in 2007.

I hope they end up being loved and used by whomever wins them. There's a note in the box inviting the winner to send me their oil caps and a PCV assembly if they want them dolled up to match; they came with baffle plates though.

Best wishes from me and Phoenix Specialty Coatings to Jason Gibbons and all the other hard working Inland Mopars Car Club members like @ocdart who are putting this special event together. I hope it's a record setter!!! If you can get to this southern California show, do it!! I've added the event flyer below.

As always, comments, Shares and questions are welcome and appreciated! Your support is invaluable and never taken for granted. You're the reason PSC is celebrating its 15th year ... and why one set of custom valve covers has been the total "advertising expense" for my humble little shop aside from business cards and website costs. You guys ROCK!

Thanks for always being here for me. << hug >>
