Just realized I am paying to much for BEER!

As a veteran I’ve asked for discounts frequently especially if they advertise it. The service ID card , which you only get to keep if you retired at 20 or more years is mostly the one they accept. I couldn’t figure out why this area has many places advertising for veterans discount. The Villages which is a huge sr retirement community near me ,it is largely retired vets. It pisses me off that guys who retire vs those of us who didn’t technically retire ,
But served anyway, would get discounts. WTF
Same here, I walked out of a Ford dealership when we were buying my wife's Ford Edge. Salesman told me I get an extra 1000.00 off for being a Fireman. Than when They found out I was retired after 33 years, they denied the discount, after they offered it to me! Walked out and bought one from another dealership.
