Maybe its back on ???
727 Was and still is Legendary
I guess bolt in sprag was only weak link ?

The press in sprague is fine. There are splines in mounts in and then the case is staked to retain it. When the sprague fails and it is knocked out of the case it breaks off little chunks of aluminum, so a new one cannot be staked in again. So the replacements are bolt in. The splines hold it from spinning out of the case, not the bolts.

I’d rather have a good original one instead of a bolt in.

Is the case SFI approved so you don’t need a blanket or a shield for racing? That would be the biggest benefit. And it looks stout enough.

I found this announcement from March 1 on their Facebook page. It sounds like it is dead to me, at least as far as DNJ is concerned.

Good Morning everyone, we have had some questions asked lately about an update on the SFI 727 case..... I have answered questions privately but thought I'd just share it here with everyone, so here's the update. The company we were working with to get these into production, we found out the hard way that they are jumping from transmission business to transmission business getting bits and pieces of info promising sole rights to it. Promising this to everyone. So we decided to jump ship. We are not designing one ourselves, we have our own products that we designed and manufacture, not interested in stealing ideas or putting our name on someones product. So there you have it, we thank you all for your interest and inquires.

in case you don't know the 727 is used around the world behind many diesel engines from France to Italy they love them in the city's maybe oversea sales could lower the pricing
