A/C Using magnum compressor pictures

-
It is used to give a finished and factory appearance for my 1975. I refer to my 75 as "Could have been".
FYI: As the hose goes thru the front brace the line is rapped by plastic( you can see by the corner of the white plastic) to keep the hose from being cut by the metal structure.
Be sure to connect EVERYTHING up with ALL of front end parts in place, including the grille to verify fitment.
I found out after installing the condenser that the grille, once in place, would not fit because the back of the running light housing interfered with the top a/c hose.
Then he had to put an "off set" connector for the top a/c hose for clearance. Yours may be different.
Just do not assume everything will fit like it should.
Have fun

Another follow up. Ran vacuum pump and system held vacuum with no problem. Still need to get the wiring over to compressor and add freon. Slow but steady progress.

Final followup. I ended up not using the factory 98 ram stuff except for compressor. Instead went with a kit from Bouchillon Performance for A bodys. Nice kit and good support for a couple of dumb questions I had. Charged system today and no problems, hopefully have on the road this summer to really test.
