1972 Dodge Colt
Got the Dana under the car, not installed but hanging on the ladder bars.
Learned about ladder bars today, first set I have ever had.
I had replaced all the clevis with new ones, closest I could find.
Turns out the old ones were 1/2 inch longer.
So as I tried to get the bars to fit the Dana mounts, I was having a hell of a good time.
Once I stepped back looked at some parts, it started to make sense.
Now I good thread depth in the bar ends, the bars are looking better.
Now it makes more sense that I had to beat the bolts out when I took it apart.
They had it in a big bind, why I don't know....yet.
Maybe pinion angle, wheelbase, not sure yet.
