And often it is a greeter in a store who asks nicely and they have spare masks
I've found that the ones who don't ask nice are generally part of the public at large
But since they seem to think they are there to police me, without a badge or the authority to do so (and generally also without knowing the difference between a mandate and a law) I don't feel the need to humor then
