A 68 Cuda big-block fastback for $8500 - this is the best buy yet

I'm not seeing the "best buy" value...
With a nother 10k in parts, 10k in free labor, and a free 10-12k paint job I could see it being worth 18k to someone who likes that body style...
It's a barracuda NOT a cuda...

really j par? have you been living on another planet for the last 10 years? i am seeing Barracudas that are COMPLETE JUNK selling for $3500 - $5000. one of these cars that is a complete car and is "running and driving" has an "average" selling price of around $14,000. i have a feeling you have NO-ZERO actual experience in the background and current market value of 67-69 Barracudas. and as to this car not having the "Cuda" package, you are correct. however, you could add that option to this car which would increase its value substantially. there are lots of guys in the marketplace for these cars that do not care if everything on the car is completely "factory correct" so long as the car looks and runs nice. i'll bet you're one of those guys who would go up to a guy at a car cruise who has a for sale sign on his very nice "driver" 69 Formula S Barracuda saying "asking $26,000" and ask the guy if he would take $15k. and then YOU would probably start nit-picking all the minor things wrong with the guy's car. i've done a complete restoration on a 68 Barracuda and am finishing two 69's that i have right now. i KNOW what these cars are worth and i KNOW how much it costs to bring one of these cars back to "decent" driver condition. and that number IS NOT the $30,000 you think it is.
