Are you running headers now or will you be in the future?
Ether way, the route I would take would use a cross over X or H pipe into the muffler I posted above and then use two U like bends to get the exhaust tips where you want them.
I like the single muffler idea, but it maybe a lot of hassle to get it working under the car.
