Others will probably be able to help you with your question, but I need to ask why you want to change. Your 76 looks pretty clean and your efforts to change the clip could be better put to taking your nice Duster to the next level.
Just my opinion. Welcome to FABO.

This was just asked a few days ago.
To swap to an earlier front you’ll need everything.
Fenders, valance, grill, etc...
Do a search for this. The thread is pretty complete in parts needed. Good luck and go for it!

What he said!!! Let the car own it’s history.....

Put that energy and cash to some good upgrades, but if you must you must.
Thats a very nice mopar, great looking as well.

Ok thanks for the input I basically need to swap everything grill valance and fenders and I want a 4” hemp hood but I also just bought a freshly rebuilt 383 and 727 trans to go in it

Nice looking car! Like the wheels...slotted rims look good when idling past plate glass windows of stores.

I swapped a 73 duster grill for a 70, all i changed was the grill, hood,bumper and the piece the hood latch is on.

You want something not flush and flat? Look at pictures of a 76 Dart. To me the 73 and up Dusters are the best lookin ones. Search the internet for pictures of 73 340 Dusters to see what they can look like. Then if you decide you really want to spend all that time and money on the new front end, do it. It is your car after all. But, look at what it COULD be first, before changing it. You might like it.

You could swap in a 67 dart front, it's pretty flat.

Try this first... Remove the bumperettes. You may be able to remove them without taking the bumper off the car. I don't know for sure. Even if you need to remove the bumper first, no big deal.

You may find that drastically improves the look and reduces the bulkiness of the front end.

If you like it, I'm sure you can find a bumper without the bumperette mounting holes.

Give it a try.

Valuster = Valient/Duster
Daruster = Dart/Duster

It might be cool to change a duster to be a 67 -69 Dartuster , ( interior, fenders, taillights, front end etc.)

@Ricky bobby , I REALLY like your car. Alter it if you really want to, but it looks great now. Does it have AC? If not, you could install a Classic Auto Air AC system for a lot less (I am guessing) than the front end swap would cost. I would spend my money elsewhere.
