Looking for info/pictures of the pinch weld moldings on a 63 dart 2 door post. The ones I refer to are the ones that go along the top and front edge of the door frame on 2 door post cars.

Is it just a coated metal pinch weld molding like on newer mopars in the door opening or is it cloth covered? I am guessing it is just like the regular pinch weld moldings but wanted to be sure. Also where is everyone getting them from? I'm not finding them for the 2 door post cars, just usually see the ones listed for newer mopars for the door opening.

Thanks in advance

Windlace early cars were cloth covered in matching colors to interior.

I am familiar with the early windlace but it usually tucks into a channel. I don't think I have seen cloth covered snap on windlace.

This is what I think is supposed to be there (excuse me but I found it on a mustang site). My car never had any there when I bought it so I am trying to confirm what is supposed to be there. Any post car dart up to 66 I would think would have it.

Search for windlace. That mustang stuff won't work correctly to seal against the door.

Thanks for the tip but I'm thinking maybe I should better explain what I'm looking for. I have the door opening weatherstrip found and ordered. What I'm looking for goes around the rear seat side glass on a 2 door post car. The upper looks like it would help hold the headliner into the shark tooth strip. The front edge looks to be just decorative to cover the pinch weld. That's why I showed the Mustang snap on windlace.

I just hoping someone with a 2 door post model could confirm what I'm looking at and maybe post a picture as well so I can be sure.

Thanks again.

Windlace.
Do you have any pictures of it installed on a 2 door sedan? I can't see how the cloth windlace will stay in the channel as it appears too wide. Also there is another channel on the other side of the pinch weld which is why I thought it might be the snap on wind lace/pinch wed molding.

I did a bunch of searches on line for 2 door sedan early a bodies but I've yet to find one that shows the rear side glass of the interior.

I had the same issue. I used this, purchased by the foot, and I cannot remember where I bought it. I will search for the receipt.

Thanks!! That's exactly what I was looking for. That's what I thought it should be. Only issue now is seeing yours with the shoulder belt bolt, I'm wishing I did this with mine. Don't really want to be cutting into it now that it's in sealer to install one.

I have all the old rotted windlace out. Do you have correct windlace or some junk? I am working on 64 B body.
Was gone when I bought the car. I knew the door windlace was the one with the weatherstrip attached. That I had the old one for. Just couldn't find a picture to confirm what the post car should have around the rear glass. Looks like 66 val nailed it. At least that's what I'm going to do with mine.
