New member here and I know this is a longshot but am wondering if my ’68 Barracuda Formula S four speed is still alive. Unfortunately, I don’t have the vin number and this is the only picture I have of it from 1976.
I bought this in late ’73 - early ’74 (with the help of my mom, I was under 18 and couldn’t sign the papers) from a used car dealer in Puyallup, Washington. It was light metallic blue when I bought it, but the original factory color was yellow with black interior and stock steel wheels. It may have been used as drag car since the torsion bars were cranked up and had air shocks on the back that raised the car about three to four inches all around.
My brother did the paint and bodywork. I traded it in on a new Datsun pickup at Gowin Datsun in Tacoma, Washington in the spring/summer of ’76.
I didn’t know what I had at the time and regret ever trading it in.
