Yes and no. I will 'kind of' agree with you if you are saying, compared to the 340, 383, 440, 413 max wedge, 426 wedge, or 426 hemi, is the 318 cool? then I would probably say no. Otherwise, I like the 318. Think about it. The 318 only has 9 cubes less than the famous 327, and that was / is a great performance platform. It's all about breathing. With some decent heads and headers, a 318 can rock your world.
