Pertronix for dual point distributor

For about $40 more, you can buy a brand new Summit dist complete with Mopar type ECU & all necessary parts.

Using a Pert kit, you would still have an old dist with old cap & rotor, & possibly worn shaft/brgs.
Some of us want to keep the stock look. Certainly nobody is advocating using a worn out distributor to start with., although a bit of play in the bushings isn't as critical as it would be with points. New caps and rotors are still available too.
