looking at this 68

Fender tag, buildsheet, numbers motor, numbers trans, radiator support and trunk lip numbers??? Start the check list.

Doesn’t look like a survivor. don’t assume mileage or feel compelled to believe it just cause this guy is old and it’s 2nd owner.

Look at the condition and amount of original parts. Go be what you see. Not what you hear.

check for replaced inner fenders, and other cut points. 383 4spd A-bodies where often raced and modified. Maybe that’s why the low mileage?

Does it have the correct 066 radiator ?

That deal with the original parts is little odd. But those parts are available used. Price them now.

there was a brown ‘69 M-code 440 notchback that I think ended up in the $50K’s

Way nicer resto/condition/level than this car.

IMHO he’s asking very nice full tilt resto price for this notchback (Fastback’s sell for more). If it’s not been messed with much that’s a plus. But better have all docs/numbers at that asking price.
