This one is a 1979 C-10. It will be powered by a Blueprint 383 @Johnny Mac (we already got it, Thanks bud!) A Tremec 6 speed and touching down through 4.11s and a Detroit.
I don't think its gonna get paint. The owner wants to keep the POS look on the outside. Greasy primer and all..... I will be doing the bed, interior, engine bay, engine, trans and wiring.

The engine bay is just about ready to start fitting the engine and trans.

Enjoy and have a great day!

The driver side top panel on the inner fender will be removable and the MSD box, wireing and other random BS will go inside. This (should) allow me to keep the engine bay very clean.

It's crazy how everything just gets bigger over time. I actually own an 86 square body chevy. And it's like the size of a last gen dakota. My Ram dwarfs it.

A plumbing company I used to work for had nothing but chevies, 1/2 and 3/4 tons, they ddnt have enough leg room up untill 1988 , when the came out w/ the newer body style . I hated every one of the earlier ones , just like dam camaros that had the fuel fill behind the tag and dumped gas all over the starting line . I still dont like the dam things either !
But I wish I still had this one !!

Yo Cope, I fully realize you got mad skills far beyond my own but FYI I just put a Tremec six speed in my 72 Demon. Not sure what your customer is wanting for finished product but 4:10 gears on the T60 he is never going to use the first couple! He will likely be taking off in 4th! Hah! The T60 is very fun. I am running right at or just under 500 HP with T60 and 3:55 ratio. It is a very nice combo. Very snappy on low end yet Super drivable. I take off in second tho most every single time, and out on highway she purrs in 6th. I love to watch your builds. Rock on guy!

Griffin Cross flow radiator. I have had very good service from Griffin and for the cost their product is very nice. The welds aint perfect like on a Ron Davies but common mon, its 400 bucks......

:)

Another reason they are cheep is they dont include or even seem to plan for any way to mount the dang things.... so plan to spend some time to figure that out then make the thing.....

Turns out the new bellhousing was wrong so hopefully Monday I can try and mount the engine/trans.
