No but I'm figuring it out pretty quick. The OP butchered it up pretty good with edits but I can see what it started out as.
Seemed to me that post #1 explained it pretty well, untill some other members questioned the OPs intent

And if we deleted all the "what's it worth" threads there wouldn't be much left. I'm a little hard headed and someone is going to have to prove to me that the op did something against the site rules. If he is a flipper then prove it to me and tell me why buying and selling cars for a profit is against the law or the rules. If there is something fraudulent going on then let the staff know.

Put a want ad up;
I have an original 1969 340-A56 PROJECT car that in two or three years, depending on how deep your pockets are, and how much of the work you can do yourself, might cost you a lot less than that. I am third owner of it, having purchased it in the early 80s. I have the numbers matching 340 block,enough core parts to build it to stock, and even the original exhaust manifolds, and the original radiator,maybe even the original carb. But the original 727 was gone when I got it; an A833 in it's place. If you want. I have a 383 in a box to go with that, and the BB K-member and even A KH brake kit. But no trans of BB bellhouse.
Also in stock are a 318, a 360, and maybe even a 273; some in boxes, some as assembled cores, except the 318 which is a good runner. Or, I could even sell you my 367/A833/ GVod. Bring a really long trailer, and I could sell you a lifetime's worth of Mopar Treasures.
So you got lots of options;
or just bring a trailer, a bit of cash, and take it all.
I'm sure others on FABO have similar or better projects, allbeit with probably fewer options..

I see who should just stay out of the thread because “opinions” are only that.
Some opinions are worth reading and others are not. Personal attacks are not called for.

Yes. He has every right to buy and sell cars. Of course he’s free to ask questions.

I have a right to value my time. Shame on me for the extra detail helping someone that does not need help. I was frustrated at myself, not him. For me not looking at his post history before spending my time replying at length.

He’s bought and sold more cars than most here. A-bodies and barracudas. That should give him an idea of the market.

Oh I know I’m gonna put my foot in my mouth and I have a habit of doing that but what is the crime in asking you guys opinion of this car I was not trying to gauge the market I was trying to find out what you thought about this car in particular I thought it was priced 10 to 15,000 too high I offered the guy 38k Which I thought was all the money that’s all.
flipping cars and all the other nonsense has nothing to do with this post why do people bring stuff up like that.

Most people that build a car to this level know, or should know, they are not going to get their money back at sale time. "You can't build a car for this price" is a phrase that should be well taken when thinking of building or selling. I sure don't see 50k in an a-body for sale with very few exceptions .IMHO. No offenses to A-bodies, I've had 4 darts and 3 dusters in my life.
