Got my engine all disassembled. Block looks really good, dropping everything off at a machine shop today. Here is some pictures of the bearings.

Bench bled and installed the new master cylinder , distribution block , adj proportioning valve and front brake lines. Installed the wiper motor and put new pivot gaskets on the shafts.

I did add some vinyl filler where the material went too far gone in some areas for glue adherence .. then began gluing with JB clear 1 minute epoxy. Adhere strip on chrome plastic piece is worthless so ignored it.

I first started with gluing an “anchor” section (a few inches long) 24 hours ago. From there I have more freedom to pull hard and bend around corners and use more (crappy) clamps.

Re-spraying (SEM Landau black) vinyl paint on my head rests after “removing” the 50 year old trim piece that had melded to the old vinyl in many places. Mild heat, took my time... some places just were not separating.
Anywho.. I have new repop chrome trim that is slightly wider than the original, so it should fill in the gap and cover the holes just fine.

I'm a big fan of Centerlines as well. I wouldn't convert my car to 4-1/2" bolt pattern because I LOVE the way the Centerlines look and fit on my car. It just looks "right" to me

Brian is a great and very knowledgeable guy....really spent a lot of time talking to me about what I want and how I'm going to use the engine. ......I have 100% confidence in him.
His shop is busy.... it'll be about 10 weeks.
There was Gen 2 Hemi's everywhere. ....freakin awesome!

On another note, to transport the engine back and forth, I bought an engine cradle from Mancini Racing. ....small block mopar engine cradles are almost nonexistent as you might know.
All of the hardware was loose and scattered in the bottom of the box but worst of all, the punched holes in the square tubing were misaligned. ....BADLY. I mean like a quarter inch off.....pathetic.
Damn thing wasn't cheap either.....I expected better for what I paid.....whatever.

Anyway, things are in process. ....whohoo!

My project is tiny compared to all the above... lol
But still, a few weeks ago I bumped into one of the Hood's side bumpers and it went into 3 pieces...( Brittle as Hell ) while I was waxing my 65 Barracuda for a show... Upset YES, But they were Very very OLD, (at least 35+ years) oh well... so ordered two from "Classic Industries" ($4.99 each)... Not too bad except for shipping so I also ordered an other item to make it worth while ..
My big job for today was to install them. The other Hood Side Bumper broke into 3 parts as soon as I engaged it... lol
I cleaned and waxed the area they occupied and the New ones popped into place and seem to work fine... Now for some Cold Beer and kickback for Reward time! :)
Note: It took this 76 year old longer to "write" about my adventure today then to do the damn JOB!

Not on the car but I picked up an air compressor for the shop. Fakebook marketplace. I am awaiting the rapidair max lines to arrive to install the rest. I am also getting a new pressure switch as the previous one was broken. Directly wired it all works. Decent for $400.

Who said you can't get kickdown linkage to fit a 408 Six Pack to a 904 Trans? Let me do some cleanup & you will never notice it. :)

I did some troubleshooting of my oil pressure guage, and some bodywork, and some block prep on my 340 build. Busy day.

After riding around for 3 weeks with the transmission cooler mounted but not connected, I finally plumbed it in today. A short trip around the neighborhood and no leaks. I'll go for a long ride tomorrow to "test it out". Lol
