Replaced My Super Nasty Carpet

Every time I sat in my 76 Duster, it smelled like I was inhaling the essence of a man from the 70's. Replacing this rancid carpet has been my top interior priority for a while now, and seeing it in just about brings a tear to my eye. Found plenty of rust holes in the floor pan, but certainly not as bad as my brother's 69 Charger. He's got a Flinstone's car at this point.

Tips appreciated on how I can one day do a better job sealing up, or fixing the rust! This remains my first project car, and I plan to see it through until it's the hottest thing on the streets.

God only knows what horrors lie within this carpet.

Far from my brother's Charger. There is essentially nothing here on his.

I have no idea how to properly do this, but, I sealed it the best I know how. *shrug*

One happy Duster

I think you should get out a black light and go over that carpet "Forensic files style" and see what stories it has to tell.
