Did you get repop Dart GT emblems? I went to install the ones on my 1970 GT (same emblems) and the posts are NOT exactly correct, and the emblem is fragile enough that if you force it it will break or bend so it's not straight across. I had to open up one hole a bit and use nuts - the barrel clips just make the hole smaller and the misaligned posts even harder to deal with.
