Just an FYI.
Guys on here using a carb hat, which seems to be most of us with turbo/supercharger setups. Engine masters on Motortrend did a shootout of carb hats to check air/fuel distribution between cylinders. They used 8 02 sensors to get that data. They also noticed how degrees of orientation and height changes that It’s a good watch. I will let you make your own conclusions but most of us are using the better one.

Is there a way to watch this for free?

This could/should be very valuable data. Can you share more about what they found? Did they try changing hat orientation too?

Doubt you can see it for free right now, maybe a couple of months it will be on TV.
They had the orientation from straight in line with the carb to a 45 degree angle. The 45 degree actually made the afr tighter across all the cylinders but not by much. Seemed like the CSU which looks like a Spectre was the best all around to use. I wish they would have tested a Holley hat but I guess since Holley is a sponsor the results could be skewed. For what most of us are doing any of them will work ok.

The CSU hat is the one I’m using. I’m glad it did so well in the test. It’s amazing the difference between the different hats and just changing the orientation of them.

I believe Kevin did plenty of testing when designing his hat, had some brief conversations about it the few times I went to his place. He did the carb so it was an easy choice for me to go with his hat, him being local is just a bonus.

Are you telling me this bad *** car is in my town and I’ve never seen it? I’m in Norco also.

Small world haha. Yeah I'm in norco, west side of the 15. Been here since 2019.

I used to live on the other some of the hill in riverside from Norco, use to take the back route home past the cemetery to La Serria. Course when you moved there we moved out of state lol

My brother lives right over in that area. Out of state is still many years away for me, but thats the end goal.

Nice. I’m in old town. 6th and center. We’ll have to find a way to meet up.

You wouldn't happen to be where the dart is in the driveway are you? Don't remember if it was on center but I remember seeing a dart on that side of town. Im a straight shot from you on Corydon.

Yes. Call and speak with Kevin. I talked to him about them at “match race madness” two weekends ago at Irwindale and he said they’re backordered.
